James Armitage (Chairman)

James ArmitageJames works as a botanist at the Royal Horticultural Society's Garden, Wisley, where he is part of the Advisory team that identifies plants for RHS members. In addition he is one of the editors of The RHS Plant Finder and helps to tackle many of the nomenclatural and taxonomic issues arising from RHS plant trials. Educated at the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh and the University of Reading, James has particular interests in the flora of New Zealand and the genus Geranium.
